Change Your Language (Student)

Typing.com can show its buttons, menus and instructions in four languages, and you can switch between them whenever you like. Here is how to change the language the website is shown in.

Step 1: Begin by logging into your Typing.com account here.

Step 2: Click your name in the top right corner, then click Account Settings.

Step 3: Scroll down to Language & Keyboard. This section holds two dropdowns: one sets the language of the website, and the other tells Typing.com which keyboard you are actually typing on.

Step 4: Open the Website Language dropdown and pick the one you want. There are four: US English, UK English, Español and Português.

Choosing a language applies it straight away, and Typing.com confirms with “Your settings have been updated.”

That is all there is to it - Typing.com now reads in the language you picked. If what you want is to learn in Spanish or Portuguese rather than just read the site in it, change your curriculum instead: the curriculum list has an Español and a Português course.
