Print a Student's Test Certificate (Teacher)
Want to celebrate your students' hard-earned typing and keyboarding skills? You can easily print a test certificate to reward them. Let’s make this fun and straightforward!
Pro-Tip: certificates are printed from one student's page at a time, but you can tick several of that student's tests and print them together - the PDF holds one certificate per test.
Note: a student who has no First Name and Last Name set gets a certificate carrying their username instead of a name. To add a name, open the student's page, click Student Settings and fill the two fields in on the Details tab.
Let’s get started!
Log in to your Teacher Portal here.
Then find the student. There are two ways: the search bar, or the class roster.
Option 1: Search Bar
Step 1: Click the search bar at the top of the page, start typing the student's name, and select them from the list.
Step 2: On the student's page, open Typing Tests.
Step 3: Tick the test you want a certificate for. Tick more than one to print several at once.
Step 4: Click Print Certificates.
The certificates open in a new browser tab as a PDF, one page per test. Print or save them with your browser's own controls.
Option 2: Class Roster
Step 1: Click Classes in the left-hand menu.
Step 2: Open the class the student is in.
Step 3: Open the Students tab.
Step 4: Click the student's row to open their page.
Step 5: Open Typing Tests.
Step 6: Tick the test you want.
Step 7: Click Print Certificates.
Again, a new tab opens with one PDF page per ticked test.
That's it! Now you know how to print test certificates and celebrate your students' achievements. 😊
