What Are the Stars at the End of Each Screen?

Edited

The stars at the end of a typing screen are achievements a student earns as they work. There are up to three: one is earned automatically for finishing the screen, whatever the accuracy, and the other two are earned by meeting the accuracy figures set for the class. Timed tests and tech literacy lessons do not award stars.

The default settings award three stars for 95% accuracy and two for 90%. You can change both: they are Min Accuracy for 3 Stars and Min Accuracy for 2 Stars, under Star Requirements on the Grading tab of Class Settings.

There are 22 accuracy star achievements to collect, the largest of them Earn 2,000 Stars. Students find them under Progress > Achievements, on the Accuracy Stars tab.

For step-by-step instructions on changing those two accuracy figures, see Can I Set/Change Typing Benchmarks?
